Welcome to 2014 – the Year of Darius Logan

I just wanted to take a moment and wish everyone a Happy New Year, and offer a quick update on The Adventures of Darius Logan, Book Two. As some of you already know, the second book is behind schedule, for which I have apologized. With the coming of the New Year, and the completion of several other major projects, I’m finally in a position to declare that 2014 will be the Year of Darius Logan. In addition to the second novel, No Man’s Land, I’m working on a comic book adaptation of Super Justice Force that will hopefully be out by the end of 2014 (look for some sample art very soon). As of this moment, the first draft of No Man’s Land is about half done. The first draft will be done by the end of February, at which point I will start revisions. Super Justice Force went through about fifteen drafts before it was done, but I’m hoping No Man’s Land won’t require as much work. I’m very excited about No Man’s Land, as it expands the world that was created in Super Justice Force. Many of the characters from the first book are back, and I will be introducing some new, rather important people into Darius Logan’s life. No Man’s Land is very different from Super Justice Force, in that the second book is as much about some of the supporting characters as it is about Darius. In some ways, No Man’s Land will be almost two books in one. Secrets of the past will be revealed, new threats will rise up, some heroes will fall, and others will rise up.
